Food safety

Influencing legislation and regulations

We take part in drawing up regulations that unify the current different national systems on hygiene in manufacturing crates (BRC/IoP, IFS, ISO 2200, etc), as we are part of the Committee CEN/TC 261/ WG 1 “Management of hygiene in the production of packaging for foodstuffs”."

We take part in the proposals for the crate sector put forward to the European Commission on legislation that requires the traceablity of materials in contact with foodstuffs, and in the drawing up of a guide on how to implement traceability in each crate sector, as we form part of the Industrial Committee on Traceability and Materials in Contact with Foodstuffs.

Advising our associates:

GROW International has developed and adapted the methodology of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) for its associated companies, which also enables them to adapt to the new requirements of the IFS certificate.

We advise on how to implement traceability in the wooden crate sector.
